I was going to put Chinchilla sand, but I read that Syrain hamsters wont use it. Is this correct?

Depending on how much room you have left in the cage, some pet store will chewable furnature and houses for them that you can put right into the cage. I know PetSmart sells them and there adorable too. They have chewable little couches, tvs, and huts for them, plus its good for them with their chewing. Just go into your local pets store and look around. You’ll most likely find some awesome things for your hamster.
If your looking for an inexpensive thing to put in there I used to give my hamster the empty toliet paper rolls and she used to love tearing them up, running through them, and chewing them.
They wont use it at all but I think that you have enough things in there to entertain the hamster but I would suggest if you wanna entertain your hamster more is that you could let it run around in a hamster ball
TOILET PAPER TUBE WITH A LITTLE PAPER ON IT TO SHRED AND USE THE TUBE FOR HIDING AND PLAYING - THEY ALWAYS ENJOY KLEENEX TO SHRED
maybe put something for her to climb on. I know my hamster loved to climb and maybe put some little chew sticks and different fruit snacks (my hamster loved vanilla yogurt drops) in.
Whoa I wish I were your hamster; you treat her like a god, lol!
Anyhow, that is enough, like the other users said, hamsters arn’t very active animals and don’t need much; mostly because they sleep during the day and play at night.
I wish I could have spoiled my hamster when I was 9, it sounds funny. ^_^
The sand won’t interest her but won’t hurt her. She needs bedding like wood chips or other bedding you get at the pet store. Enough so she is not sitting on bars.
You have a lot of toys, and that sounds great. House and igloo to go in or climb on. Ladders up to three stories for climbing too. Hammock to..? I don’t know if a hamster will use a hammock, but you can see.
The very best thing to do is vary what is in the cage. Be very careful about safety, but put things on the different levels. Certainly the house and igloo should be on different levels. She should also sometimes have cloth to chew on. Some cloth in her bed will help to keep her warm too. That I would do every time.. She will also love to chew Kleenex and other CLEAN paper (not with ink on it). She will love toilet paper rolls. Always have at least one in the cage for her to climb through and chew on– but NOT on an upper level because it might roll off.
You can see so many other toys at the pet shop. Just think to yourself, will this interest the hamster or is it just made interesting for the owner? For instance she does not need two identical houses just because one is silver and purple and painted like a rocket or something!!! Some great toys I have found is an empty ball made of woven wood. She will love that. Or a house with two stories. A toy that is just stairs steps both directions. A buildable house that you can make different every time (that’s great!). She will probably like the wooden chew sticks or shapes that they make in different colors. Different colors mean nothing to the hamster, so if you can get them without color that’s better.
Something I do that is very fun is I put a yummy food that she likes in a small box, like a brie round box or a box you make of cardboard. She will have such fun chewing to get her prize! I think pet stores even sell something like this. Don’t use anything besides Elmer’s glue to put it together, because Elmers is nontoxic. Anything else might be poisonous. A box already made is probably ok too. Try a jewelry box or other box you buy or wrap things in. A box big enough for her to climb in makes it extra fun sometimes.
Never buy those ‘treats’ they have because they have sugar in them. The exception is the long food sticks made of seed, that look like what people give birds. You can give her real treats from home. Celery or carrot sticks are wonderful to chew on. Sunflower seeds will be so fun to fill her pouch with! They love to play with things like that. Unpopped popcorn would work, too; or split peas, or lentils. She will probably love sprouts: Alfalfa or clover sprouts. Or clover! You can try other bits of fruit or vegetable, but with any food, if she has not touched it in 24 hours, take it out. With perishables like tomato, take it out even if she did have some. Don’t give her the same treat a lot, because her diet needs to vary, and she should be eating her hamster mix or pellets as well. Especially don’t do something like popcorn or other collectibles a lot unless she is not eating them but only playing with them.
Bottom line is, vary the cage every time you clean it. That will make it so fun for her to explore and enjoy!
i had a hamster and it wouldn’t touch the sand.

i think you have enough things in her cage.
or you can get those plastic balls where you put the hamsters in it and let them roll around OUT of their cage.
so basically, they would have more room to roam around without being lost from your sight.
That sounds like a good amount. Hamsters arent very active rodents, they like to sleep and chew. Whenever you run out of toilet paper or paper towels, throw the cardboard in there, she’ll love it.
