We kept them all. There were only three
We bought 3 cages and they were happy little campers. One died of an ovarian cyst and the other two are still with us now. I’ll make some video of it later so everyone can see how well they grew up.
what did you do with the babys?
I’ve had two small hamsters, the first one was so tiny that I coulnd’t see him sometimes, and I named him Nikko, since he was so quick, and the other was named Silver, he had kind of silver like colored fur, both was boys, and they did lot’s of funny and wierd things

yes that can happen. You need to wait until they get a little older to touch them and it also depends on how much the mother trusts you and knows you. When this video was taken they had just been separated from their mother so it wasn’t an issue.
I know that’s true for rabbits, but I’m not sure about anything else.
Btw I have that same catch… Except my hamster (Ginger, My wife named it!) slept in the top lid thing. And mine is blue.
